Description
The Bioproduction Platform provides controlled microbial cultivation for recombinant protein expression and biomass production.
With three bioreactors covering working volumes from 0.4 to 30 L, the platform offers flexible solutions adapted to different production scales and experimental requirements.

Access to the Facility
Bench-top bioreactors – Self-service
The Biostat A and Labfors 4 are available for independent use after initial training. Trained users can reserve the equipment through a shared calendar.
Techfors-S – Staff-assisted production
Productions are performed jointly with platform staff and must be scheduled in advance according to availability.

2. Sartorius Biostat A
Working volume: 0.4–1 L
Description of Instrument
Compact bench-top bioreactor suitable for standard bacterial cultivation and high-temperature cultures up to 70 °C.

- Standard and high-temperature microbial cultivation.
- Batch and fed-batch cultures.
- Small-scale recombinant protein expression.
