The NEO platform is dedicated to the design and screening of de novo generated protein binders using advanced bioinformatics and computational design approaches.
Candidates are designed in silico based on the structural and functional constraints of the target, then rapidly synthesized and experimentally evaluated. These binders are developed using a de novo approach, i.e., independently of any pre-existing molecules.
Validation relies on cell-free expression systems developed at the CBS (Capin et al., Nat. Commun. 2026), enabling rapid, flexible, and quantitatively robust screening of the binders, as well as analysis of their specificity toward the target of interest.
The platform offers comprehensive technological support, from defining design parameters and carrying out the design itself, through screening, to the functional characterization of candidates, with a modular approach tailored to both academic and industrial projects.
