FRISBI
MP3 platform is a set of four FPLC modules, of the Akta Xpress type, dedicated to membrane protein purification.
The platform is accessible mainly for two types of services:
Automatization of a multi-step purification from a protocol already established, to scale up, to increase reproductibility and reduce the purification time. The product of this type of service is the sample of purified protein.
Optimization of one or more purification steps, parallelizing 2 to 4 modules to establish or improve a purification protocol (by varying the temperature, the buffer, the detergent...). The product of this type of service is a purification protocol.
Other options are possible, specify with the staff in charge of the equipment: Franck Fieschi (scientific head) et Michel Thépaut (technical head).
The platform is currently engaged in a quality process to obtain ISO 9001 certification for IBS/PSB platform in late June 2011.
This certification involves monitoring of equipment (Akta Xpress, columns, NanoDrop) and optimal traceability, ensuring procedures and experimental precision.
IBS/PSB platform is also a research platform in Life Science IBiSA labeled.
